Coordination activities will be developed to achieve the following main goals:
1. foster cross-fertilization between the four different scientific areas on which this project focuses, mainly through the common vertical aspects;
2. contribute to the development and dissemination of common good practices and methodological approaches;
3. foster the transfer of knowledge among different research teams, thereby enhancing the spreading of innovative methods and tools;
4. implement a common reference point for the European NMR community in the internet, by maintaining a common virtual laboratory;
5. jointly identify bottlenecks and possible breakthroughs in the field of biological NMR.

The project is divided in the following workpackages (WP):
WP0: Project coordination
WP1: Protein-protein interactions
WP2: Protein-DNA/RNA interactions
WP3: Protein-ligand interactions
WP4: Membrane and immobilized proteins
WP5: Virtual laboratory

WP0 is devoted to project management. WP1-4 are developed in parallel and involve similar actions in the four scientific areas (protein-protein interactions; protein-DNA/RNA interactions; protein-ligand interactions; membrane and immobilized proteins) addressed by the project. The fifth WP is concerned with the implementation and maintenance of the present web site, acting as a common virtual laboratory, as well as with the preparation and diffusion of a periodic newsletter, dissemination of documents and results of studies.
